Even though Gino’s primary goal is to get Norman elected, he takes a twisted pleasure in bringing out Norman’s dark side, and playing with more than just the colonel’s emotions.

Hired Gun … Evil Do-er … Puppet Master … some or none? Gino kinda fills the void crying out for this type of character. He’s someone we can all kinda “hate” but not really “hate”. He’s not pure evil … yet he’s bad enough we can all kind of tell ourselves we are good for disliking him. At the end of the day, having a counterbalance like this gives readers an out … but still gives them an in.
