(more than two, for sure)<\/p>\n<p>I hope this doesn&#8217;t blow your mind too badly, but brace yourselves &#8211; I have an <em>author newsletter<\/em> now!!! Supposedly these things are <em>critical<\/em> to an author&#8217;s success. If they are\u00a0all as\u00a0great as mine, I can see why.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, I had no idea how to\u00a0make an author\u00a0newsletter; I just knew that everyone was telling me I had to get one (along with a website and a blog and a Facebook presence and a Twitter following and an Instagram account and shoot me now). But after surfing the Internets, reading other author&#8217;s newsletters,\u00a0and stealing\u00a0their ideas, I figured out what should be in my newsletter. Then I subscribed to <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchimp.com\/\">MailChimp<\/a>, which is a free (up to a point)\u00a0online service that sends out pre-fabbed\u00a0e-mails for you, using a fairly easy-to-use drag-and-drop template to make your e-mail\/newsletter look all fancy. Then, it takes the e-mail list comprised of people who&#8217;ve subscribed, and sends out your super-sweet newsletter whenever you tell it to. It&#8217;s just that easy!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thinking of doing a (nominally) monthly newsletter. Luckily for you all, I write a <em>hell<\/em> of a newsletter. The first one &#8211; which I&#8217;ll send out in about a week to all the people currently on my mailing list (more than two&#8230;I&#8217;m assuming) &#8211; includes exciting things like a\u00a0sneak peak at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Retribution-Valentine-Shepherd-Shana-Figueroa-ebook\/dp\/B01GQIYAMS\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1483375122&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=RETRIBUTION+by+shana+figueroa\">RETRIBUTION<\/a>, the second book in the Valentine Shepherd series &#8211; coming out on February 7th! &#8211; as well as info on a\u00a0secret project I&#8217;m working on, and CATS.
